Documentum Search

The search engine running against the Documentum Enterprise Content Management software. Documentum Search Services in its current release uses the Apache Lucene engine and previously the FAST ESP engine, embedded as OEM software.

Integrating to a product like Documentum required specific effort to ensure all the database content is correctly indexed and specifically that Access Control Lists (ACLs) are obeyed.  Other search software vendors provide alternative search options for Documentum.
