Focus on US Federal Government

I was surfing on the Internet a few weeks ago looking for interesting stories and this one, though a couple of years old, caught my eye.  The blog talked about “Obama’s Groundbreaking use of the Semantic Web” and how the administration was set to utilize next generation technologies such as semantic web, linked data, RDF and wikis to bring an unprecedented level of transparency to government.  This is just one of the many initiatives by the Federal Government to improve access to publicly available government information.

To cover the US Federal Government, we recently hired a new Director of Federal Sales, Sean Fagan, based out of Washington DC.  Sean has over 20 plus years of diverse Federal Government focused experience and organizational leadership in the Information Technology industry.  For those in this industry, please feel free to contact Sean Fagan and have him give you a tour of Semaphore.  Also watch this video about “Semantics in the DoD”.
