The Semaphore

Volume 2 - November 2011

Welcome to The Semaphore, a Quarterly Newsletter, from Smartlogic.

We have a lot of exciting news to share with you this quarter, the most important of which is our acquisition of SchemaLogic that we completed in August. This acquisition has expanded our market presence as well as extended our leadership in Content Intelligence.

To top that, Smartlogic was awarded the prestigious Frost & Sullivan Technology Innovation Award last month, in recognition of our leadership position in Content Intelligence.

Finally, we also sponsored a new research report called "Getting the Point" - that shows that Microsoft SharePoint is emerging as the industry standard for enterprise information management, but to make it effective, it needs to be combined with specialized applications that improve end user experience and fill the gaps in functionality.
