The focus of the inaugural issue of 'The Semaphore' is our recent research study entitled “Mind the Enterprise Search Gap”. Conducted by MindMetre Research, the report details the analysis of the gap between enterprise search expectations and real life experience.
Apparently enterprise search is falling far short of expectations, according to a survey of more than 2,000 directors and managers in the US, UK, Germany and France. More than half (52%) of respondents say they cannot find the information they are seeking using their own organization’s enterprise search facility within what most define as an acceptable amount of time.
