Semaphore Ontology Manager Training Course - 1 day
The Ontology Manager training course is delivered over 1 day at your site (or over 2 half days remotely). It aims to provide Information Managers and Taxonomists in your organization with the skills to use Semaphore to manage the ontology in business as usual. Key elements of the course include:
- Ontology Management services, which comprises
- use of Ontology Manager(OM)
- connecting to Semaphore “models”
- adding preferred terms, non-preferred terms, relationships, new relationship types, notes, choices and attributes
- running reports, importing and exporting data
- advanced structures (ontologies)
- use of Text Miner and the Review Tool
- Content Classification Services overview, which comprises
- content categorization / classification and refinement
- rulebase generation.
Semaphore Classification Server Training Course - 1 day
The Classification Server training course is delivered over 1 day at your site (or over 2 half days remotely). It aims to provide Information Managers and Taxonomists in your organization with the skills to manage classification in business as usual. Key elements of the course include:
- How Semaphore classifies content according to taxonomies and ontologies
- Creation and refinement of rulebase templates to create classification strategies
- how to use rulebase templates, ontologies and the Rulebase Generator to create rulebases for each topic in the ontology
- how to determine context
- how to apply weightings to terms.
Semaphore Administration Training Course - 1/2 day
The Semaphore Administration training course is delivered over a half day at your site (or half day remotely). It aims to provide System Administrators in your organization with the skills to manage the technical component of the Semaphore implementation. Key elements of the course include:
- Installation of Semaphore software components
- Installation of software upgrades
- System monitoring tasks
- Renewal of license keys.
