This is so the authority can further promote services, audit information use, profile users, distribute content and under pin content workflow. This ultimately improves the operational efficiency of the authority, agency or ministry be it at the call centre, citizen self- service web-site or between government bodies.

Who uses it?

Semaphore Government is employed by local, civil and central government authorities for various applications involving unstructured content. These applications have in common; eGIF (electronic government interoperability framework); the high level of importance of adhering to eGMS (electronic government metadata standard); the effective application of standard taxonomies (for example IPSV, GCL) or their own departmental taxonomies.
