Semaphore: three components that analyse, classify and reveal content

How it works: taxonomy-based rules, a powerful classification engine

Semaphore uses a semantic model to create classification rules, and a powerful classification engine to apply those rules to any type of information.

Our Ontology Service then ‘reveals’ the content to users by using a number of search-navigation features (e.g. faceted search, disambiguation questions) that are driven by the taxonomy.

The net result for users is better findability.

Clients can manage and develop the taxonomy (well, strictly speaking it’s any type of semantic model) using Ontology Manager (see the taxonomy matters slideshow).
